FINE ART DOG & PET PHOTOGRAPHY
It’s said we only get a handful of summers with our dogs, if we’re lucky.
The days feel ordinary while we’re in them, until one day they aren’t.
Photography becomes a way to hold onto the presence, the routines, the quiet companionship that defines a life shared.
The images become a place to return to what once was.
Happy to meet you...

It started with a yellow chair and a blue Great Dane.
For ten years, our life revolved around Jax, calm, steady, grounding in a way only a giant breed can be. When he was six, we foster-adopted his brother, Winston, and our home grew fuller. We loved both of our boys deeply, right up until their passing.
As a couple without children, our dogs were our family. Loss changes you, but nothing prepared us for what came next.
Oakley did.
Oakley is our Belgian Malinois, now two years old. Life with him has been anything but quiet. He challenged our patience, our consistency, and what it truly means to be present. In the process, he made us better dog owners.
Oakley brought me out of photography retirement.
This work exists to honor the seasons we’re living now.
Photography preserves what time inevitably moves past.
The images become a place to return to what once was.
WHY PET PORTRAITS MATTER
A Portrait Experience That Honors Your Dog
When planning family portraits, dogs are often excluded.
Yet they are present for every milestone, every quiet routine, and every new beginning.
They deserve more than a passing snapshot.
They deserve a place within your family’s visual legacy.
Choose Your Portrait Experience
Fine Art Portraits
Fine Art Portraits are about slowing things down.
These sessions take place in one intentional location, so the focus stays on your dog, not bouncing between spots or setups. There’s no rushing and no overproducing. We take the time needed to let your dog settle, observe them, and photograph them as they are in that moment.
Sessions last 45–60 minutes and are followed by an in-person photo reveal and design appointment. This is where we sit down together, look through the images, and decide how you want to live with them, whether that’s artwork for your walls or pieces you’ll return to over time.
This isn’t about getting “a lot” of images.
It’s about creating a small body of work that actually belongs in your home.
Adventure Sessions
Adventure Sessions are for dogs who aren’t meant to sit still.
These sessions take place outdoors and often involve travel, hiking, or getting to a location that feels meaningful to you and natural for your dog. The pace is looser and more responsive. We move, we pause, we follow what your dog is doing rather than forcing moments.
Sessions typically run 60–90 minutes, giving us time to explore and photograph your dog in an environment where their energy and personality come through naturally. Muddy paws, wind, uneven ground, and imperfect moments are part of the experience.
This option is a good fit if your dog is most themselves outside, in motion, and engaged with the world around them.
MY MISSION
My work is about honoring the bond between people and their dogs and preserving it through thoughtful, intentional portraiture.
Dogs shape our lives in quiet, everyday ways. This work exists to document that connection and create photographs that last beyond the season in which they were made.
Giving back is part of that commitment. A portion of every session supports organizations that serve working K9s, service dogs, and veterans.
At its core, this work is rooted in respect for the relationships that anchor us and the belief that they deserve to be remembered, not rushed past.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
I take on a limited number of sessions each month, so every experience has the time and attention it deserves.
Here’s how it works:
Start with a conversation
We’ll connect to talk through your dog, what matters to you, and which type of session makes the most sense.
To begin, call the studio at (717) 368-4638.
Plan the session
We’ll decide on location, timing, and how you’d like to live with the images afterward. Nothing is overcomplicated or rushed.
Create the work
After the session, we’ll meet in person to view the photographs and choose the pieces that feel right for your home.
If you’re ready to document this season with intention, I’d love to talk.
